Accounts Hierarchy for Zoho CRM
Introduction
The "Account Hierarchy" extension allows you to view the parent-child tree of an account chain in Zoho CRM. It is accessible as a related list from the "Account" module and is based on the "Parent Account" and "Member Accounts" fields already available in Zoho CRM, so no additional configuration is required after installing the extension.
How it works
- The account the user is currently viewing is highlighted in green.
- Searching for an account by name in the search bar highlights the parent path to reach it.
- Enabling "Show all accounts" displays all accounts in your Zoho CRM, along with their parent-child relationships, without being limited to the specific record the user is on.
- Hovering over an account with the cursor shows a summary of the account’s information:
- Account Owner
- Account Name
- Industry
- Website
- Phone Number
- Clicking on an account in the hierarchy view opens the record in a new browser tab.
- Using the menu button in the top left corner, the user can:
- Open the hierarchy view (see all accounts in the hierarchy)
- Close the hierarchy view (see only the account currently being viewed)
- Rotate the hierarchy view (e.g., from vertical to horizontal)
- Change how links between accounts are displayed, showing one line per relationship.
